My TikTok Experience:
I joined the app while it was still in its Musical.ly infancy. As with every other social media outlet, I began by picturing myself as a creator in the food niche. Back in 2018, the app was growing in popularity, but very slowly and with hesitation from some. It was even considered cringeworthy by many other social media platform users.
